Background
Dr Judith Ogolla is the Director, Projects Planning & Strategic Management of SPH, responsible for driving the completion of the strategic plans for SPH and its client’s projects. Further, she facilitates processes to design and document strategic goals, outcomes and related projects while overseeing the development of project plans aligned with the strategic objectives of SPH and portfolio clients. Dr Ogolla has a vast wealth of experience from both the private and public sectors in East Africa and Africa. Dr Ogolla is an entrepreneur, lecturer and change advocate with over 20 years of experience in project management, strategic management and planning with USAID and Land O’ Lakes, training and capacity building, and mentorship.
Dr Ogolla is currently the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Vanguard Contractors, an organization that turns plastic waste into building material for affordable housing across Africa. She also serves as the C.E.O. of Yath Agency, which deals with educational programs locally and globally. She is a lecturer at Kenya Methodist University in the School of Business and Economics. She has numerously been involved in social transformation projects and gender mainstreaming.
Dr Ogolla has served as a board member in the Ministry of Interior, National Government and Coordination department of Kenya Citizen and Foreign National Management Service (KCFNMS). She has also been a lead consultant with the Emerging Market in agriculture and agribusiness across East Africa for USAID Land O’ Lakes programs. She was an Executive Director for One Kid One World East Africa and has been a lead consultant in over thirty landmark projects across East and Central Africa. She has also worked and consulted for various microfinance institutions such as Faulu Kenya.
Dr Ogolla holds a PhD in Business Administration and Management with a specialization in Strategic Management and Leadership, an M.B.A. in Strategic Management and a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Administration and Management. She is a member of the Doctoral Association of East Africa (DAEA) and a fellow of the Galilee Institute of Management in Israel (GIMI).
