Mr Duncan Oduor Otieno is the Group President of SPH, responsible for providing overall leadership to a team of professionals managing every aspect of SPH projects portfolio programs in its entirety. Mr Otieno serves as the primary, on-the-ground counterpart to the company’s clients, professional partners, and private and public-sector officials, ensuring clear and open communication with stakeholders and the timely advancement of project portfolio objectives. He is charged with the assignment of making major corporate decisions, managing the company’s overall resources and operations, and communicating with the Board of directors, management team, and corporate operations, well as providing inspired leadership to the company’s executive and professional team, establishing a great working relationship with the Board of directors, stakeholders and set a course for company strategy and planning.

Mr Otieno is also a Co-Founder of A.D.F. Group, the Vice Chairman and President of Africa in charge of ensuring sustainable and strategic investments of A.D.F. Group funds in Africa. Mr Otieno was also the founder of Mobikash Afrika a, mong other innovative Business & Social interests ranging from Financial Services, Private Equity & Investments, I.C.T. & Related Services, Energy & Petroleum, Mining, Business & Professional Consulting, Retail & Distribution, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Media, Real Estate, Construction, Events Management and Charitable Activities. Some of the key companies that Mr Otieno holds Directorship are; Rising Petroleum (Pty), AGREHA Ltd, Banka Solutions, Zalafin, Truget Technologies, Sawa Farm Products, and Rising Organic Fertilizer, among other companies.

Mr Otieno worked in the banking industry for over 19 years in various senior management positions. He has also worked with the Government of Kenya and various auditing and consulting firms.  Mr Otieno has a wealth of experience and knowledge in Commercial & Private Banking, Private Equity, Microfinance Institutions, Payment & Money Systems, Retail & Trade, Risk management, audit, strategic management and accounting.

Mr Otieno holds an M.B.A. in Finance and a BSc. In Finance and a PhD. Finance Candidate at Jomo Kenyatta University of Science & Technology in Kenya. He also holds Professional Qualifications; Certified Public Account (C.P.A.), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) and Certified Securities & Investment Analysts (CSIA).
