Mr Eliud Kaunyangi Laichena is the Chief Financial Analyst of SPH, responsible for tracking and reporting on the financial performance of projects as well as identifying ways to improve potential/future projects by analyzing past performance or other factors to be position SPH as the global leader in Projects Consulting and Advisory services industry. He is currently a part-time finance lecturer at the Cooperative University of Kenya, where he has worked since 2016. Mr Laichena is a Finance & Investment Analyst and Researcher. Before joining SPH, he worked as the Programs Coordinator at BESCK Holdings Limited, coordinating the company’s consultancy programs from bidding to completion. His roles included ensuring effective collaborations with the task delivery teams in developing EOIs, Technical Proposals, Financial proposals, and other reports. Mr Laichena also doubled up as a lead consultant in specific projects, depending on the demands of the clients and the ToRs.

Mr Laichena has gained experience in diverse sectors, including agriculture, manufacturing, I.C.T., Renewable energy, Real estate, microfinance, and public sector development. Mr Laichena has worked in both the public and private sectors. Mr Laichena has over eight years of experience in development finance, having started his career with T.V.T. as a volunteer resource mobilization officer. He previously worked as a programs coordinator at Kimkam Foundation (Africa).

Mr Laichena holds a Master’s of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance Option) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology (JKUAT). He is also a continuing PhD Finance candidate at JKUAT.
